WORKING MEETING
On April 28, 2021, a working meeting of Dmytro Zhyvytskyi, Deputy Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine with our Institute staff was held in “DerzhdorNDI” SE.
Artem Bezuglyi, Director of “DerzhdorNDI” SE presented the main activities, plans and prospects for the development of the enterprise, the role of our team in the implementation of road industry reforms.
The meeting was focused on the issues of effective implementation of the functions of balance holders of local roads by regional state administrations. It is important to focus on the following:
Need of inspection of transport structures on the local roads network and filling of inspection data of the Analytical expert bridge management system (AESUM). Unfortunately, only 15% of bridges on local roads are included to AESUM database, which don’t ensure to make effective management decisions regarding the priority of bridge repairing. For example, the level of filling the AESUM database reaches more than 75% on the roads of state importance.
Intensifying of introduction of modern materials and technologies on the road network of local importance, in particular the use of local materials.
This can be achieved by following ways:
• harmonization of European standards and updating of construction norms;
• introduction of “experimental construction” concept in the construction industry;
• scientific and technical support involvement during the designing and construction of roads;
• application of the Portal of Innovation - https://roadinnovation.org.ua/uk
Advanced training of local government specialists.
We will develop this direction by the following way: mandatory participation of regional specialists in “DerzhdorNDI” SE events- http://bit.ly/dndi_events
Use of following manuals:
• construction of local roads - https://bit.ly/3gMFwdg
• construction of cement concrete roads - http://bit.ly/Green_Book_Concrete
• “Dorogi I Mosti” Collection of Scientific Papers of the Institute http://dorogimosti.org.ua/ua
