PUBLIC DISCUSSION

Dear colleagues, we invite all interested specialists to a public discussion of the draft DSTU 4092:202X "Road Traffic Safety. Road traffic lights. General technical requirements" developed by "DerzhdorNDI" SE.

The mentioned DSTU provides for a number of innovations, in particular
- ensuring terminological compatibility with other existing regulatory documents;
- harmonization of the provisions and requirements of DSTU with other regulatory legal acts, construction norms and regulatory documents;
- taking into account the European and world experience in the arrangement of traffic lights;
- introduction of a new type of traffic lights to regulate cyclists' traffic, including for bicycle crossings;
- establishing requirements for the parameters of traffic lights that significantly affect the level of road safety at road intersections;
- the possibility of synchronizing traffic light objects with road marking inserts.
