CONFERENCE OF YOUNG SCIENTISTS

 The team of the State Enterprise "National Institute of Infrastructure Development", despite the difficult wartime, continues to work actively to strengthen the scientific potential of our country.

Especially on the eve of the Science Day, with the active support of the Council of Young Scientists of the SE NIRI, the Third All-Ukrainian Scientific Conference of Young Scientists "YOUTH - DRIVERS OF THE COUNTRY'S RECOVERY" was held.

It is important that the Conference provided an opportunity for young scientists to demonstrate to the professional community their scientific developments and achievements in various thematic areas: modern materials and technologies for the restoration of infrastructure, ecology and waste management, transport facilities, digitalization and strategic planning.

The Conference featured 20 interesting and relevant reports from young scientists from research institutions and universities from different cities of Ukraine:
- National Institute of Infrastructure Development and National Transport University, Kyiv;
- Kharkiv National Automobile and Highway University, Kharkiv;
- Lviv Polytechnic National University, Lviv;
- National University "Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic", Poltava;
- Lutsk National Technical University, Lutsk.

 During the Conference, a professional independent jury evaluated the presentations of young scientists, taking into account the relevance, quality of the prepared abstracts and scientific novelty of the work, the content of the presentation material and the presentation itself, and the professionalism of the answers to the participants' questions. Three best reports were selected:
First place - Volodymyr Bidos (Lviv Polytechnic National University, Lviv), who presented bitumen cationic emulsions for cold recycling technology of road pavement;
Second place - Serhii Zavhorodnii (SE NIRI), who reported directly from a business trip to a dynamic bridge test about dynamic testing of bridges by the method of oscillation excitation by pulse load;
III place - Vadym Parnitskyi, Master of Lutsk National Technical University, who reported on the automation of calculating the volume of work and materials in a BIM project. Also, an interactive voting was organized among the participants of the Conference (more than 100 people), according to the results of which Volodymyr Bidos (Lviv Polytechnic National University, Lviv) won again.

We are proud that our young scientists find the strength and desire to build a solid foundation for the restoration and development of Ukraine's infrastructure.
