XII WARMIAN-MASURIAN ROAD FORUM IN POLAND
On September 13–15, representatives of the State Enterprise «National Institute for Development Infrastructure» — Deputy Directors Volodymyr Kaskiv and Bohdan Stasiuk — took part in the XII Warmian-Masurian Road Forum “Safe Roads of the Future — New Challenges” held in Olsztyn, Poland.
The forum brought together representatives of the road sector, military structures, and the railway industry to discuss current challenges in the development of transport infrastructure under security threats.
During panel discussions, NIDI representatives shared Ukraine’s experience in:
preparing road infrastructure for defense needs;
developing dual-use infrastructure;
protecting roads against drone threats;
maintaining and managing roads in wartime conditions;
applying modern technologies and materials to enhance road safety.
The Ukrainian experience of operating road infrastructure during the full-scale war sparked significant interest among European partners and became an important topic of professional dialogue.
We sincerely thank the Polish Road Congress, the Voivodeship Road Authority in Olsztyn, and our Polish partners for the invitation, meaningful discussions, and openness to cooperation.
Together we work towards safe, modern, and resilient roads of the future.
