ASPHALT PLANT CERTIFICATION

On October 22, 2019, the specialists of Normal Inspection and Conformance Evaluation Department of DerzhdorNDI» SE executed a survey of the production of “ASTEC Portable 5 'Double Barrel Plant” mobile asphalt plant (“АБЗ-1” LLC) located in Kyiv. The feeding unit of the mobile asphalt plant consists of 6 hoppers for bulk components of different fractions. The plant is equipped with combined gas purification equipment - a hose filter and a scrubber, which provides dust collection efficiency. A filler hopper  is loaded by pneumatic loading system. The bitumen facility is equipped with a thermal oil heater. “ASTEC Portable 5 Double Barrel Plant” is equipped with a modern wet cleaning system to reduce pollutant emissions into the atmosphere, bringing cleaning efficiency up to 98-99%.

According to the results of the asphalt plant certification, it was checked:

- availability and status of regulatory and technical documentation;

- input control system;

- system of control of technological parameters in the process of production and finished products;

- compliance with the requirements of technological processes for the preparation of asphalt mixtures;

- state of metrological support of production;

- compliance with sanitary and hygienic requirements at the enterprise;

- the asphalt mixture production temperature.

During the production certification, a sample of the asphalt mix was selected for further testing at the “DerzhdorNDI” SE Main Testing Center.

According to the results of the production certification, after carrying out the control tests, a report with all the results of the inspection and conclusions on compliance with the requirements of certification will be prepared.
